Copper is an essential trace nutrient for organisms. However, microwave synthesis of coordination and organometallic compounds has been less explored. Microwave irradiation has been applied as a non-conventional reaction condition in several areas of chemistry such as organic and polymer synthesis or analytical chemistry.
